Bio/Info: Bobby Dean is a native of Waco, Texas. He has been professionally performing for more than ten years and music has always been a major part of his life. A talented musician, singer/songwriter, Bobby attended McLennan Community College in the Commercial Music Program to further his talent and knowledge in the music industry. He was invited to perform on the Branson on the Brazos Opry in Waco, Texas and spent three years as a regular part of their cast. Bobby was later invited to be a band member and singer on the Texas Rose Opry Show in Temple, Texas, and has been with their show for more than two years. He has also performed as a guest on the Lone Star Jamboree Opry in Seguin, Texas where he was featured as a singer/songwriter. For more than ten years, Bobby has organized and booked his own band “The Timeless Country Band” and was awarded “Country Band of the Year” from the Music Association of Central Texas in 2006. Since the beginning of 2007, Bobby has been with “The Plumb Country Band” as singer and rhythm guitarist. “The Plumb Country Band” has performed together for more than 20 years and have been the opening band for artists such as Tracy Byrd, Radney Foster, Confederate Railroad, Gene Watson, Asleep at the Wheel, and T.G. Sheppard to name a few. Bobby has also shared the stage with icons such as Johnny Gimble, Earl Clark, Rex Allen, Jr. and many others. When Bobby is not singing in Texas, he commutes to Nashville, TN promoting his music and material he has written. He is a registered songwriter with A.S.C.A.P and also a member of the Songwriters Union and Nashville Songwriters Association International. Bobby has performed at many historic venues in Nashville, such as the Bluebird Café, Tootsies, Bluegrass Café, Nashville Palace, Roberts Western World, and many others. He also has become friends with the likes of Hank Cochran (who wrote I Fall To Pieces, The Chair, Don’t You Ever Get Tired Of Hurting Me, and many others), Earl Clark (who wrote One Step At A Time, I found Jesus On The Jailhouse Floor, and many others), Vern Gosden (“The Voice”, who wrote Chiseled in Stone, Set ‘em Up Joe, and many others), and Red Lane (who wrote Tell Me Something Bad About Tulsa, Miss Emily’s Picture, and many others). In recent years Bobby has developed a relationship with Mel Tillis, who currently has several of Bobby's songs under contract. Bobby also signed with Pretty World Records in the Spring of 2010, who released the new single, 'ENOUGH TO LEAVE', hitting the independant charts within a couple of weeks. A dedicated Christian, Bobby is also a loving husband to Cyndie, and father to Heather, Blake, Jessica and Amie, and “Poppy” to Jarrett, Kamryn, and Blake, Jr. Click to visit his Websites below:
