Digital CholoGenre: electronic Location: Dallas, TX Visits: 906 | Bio/Info: DC (Digital Cholo) started out his career in school/church choirs and band/orchestra. He eventually moved to Navasota, the official Blues Capital of Texas and home of blues legend Mance Libscomb. He got his hands on a 57 Les Paul and at 16 began to "cut his teeth" working the local cover band circuit. During the cover band years he opened for various national acts (Tony Talivor and Asleep at the Wheel are fans), appeared on MTV Basement tapes, worked the Texas club circuit, gave Texas guitar legend Eric Johnson a guitar lesson, and briefly worked with Grady Martin. After giving his life to Jesus DC began to work in the Christian music genre. He has had the privilege of working with Phillips Craig and Dean, Mikaila, Ted Pearce, and Rohn Bailey. DC's band Big Methuselah was inducted into "7 ball Unsigned Artist who Rock", along with Grammy artist Mercy Me, and CCM magazines best hard rock band, Pillar. In 2002 DC built a home studio and began experimenting with electronic ambient and Latin music. The result was his 2007 EP, "Synergy." His next audio experiment promises to be a dirty electronic bliss, manic electronic, liquid Latin groove, with a whirlpool of sublime guitar melodies.
